Yobe inaugurates LGA sanitation committee
From Yahaya Wakili, Damaturu
Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has said that the deteriorating sanitary condition of the communities in both rural and urban areas in the state is caused partly by nonchalant attitude of sanitary inspectors; popularly know as Duba-Gari.

Represented by his deputy, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune), the governor said his administration has made remarkable achievements in the area of construction of township roads and drainages with the intent of making movement of goods and services easier.
According to him, the drainages provided are not being properly utilized as some people have turned them to dumping ground for refuse thereby inducing flood disaster and aggravating breeding of mosquitoes.
