Yobe gov donates 30 Toyota Hilux vansto Police –

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has donated 30 Toyota Hilux vehicles to the State Police Command and other security agencies to enhance the security of lives and property in the State.
Governor Buni who disclosed this during thepresentation of Security Surveillance Vehicles donated by the Yobe State Government to security agencies in Damaturu when he received the Inspector-General of Police Muhammad AbubakarAdamu who was on a one-day working visit to the State.
According to him, 30 patrol vehicles which would be distributed to the Nigeria Police, DSS, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Nigerian Army, would help sustain peace and order in the State.
Governor Buni called on the Inspector-General of Police to establish more barracks, provide information and communication equipment and other forms of operational support.
“I hope that under your leadership, the capacity of the police in the state would be further strengthened to enable them perform their duties well,” he urged.
He commended the President’s commitment in addressing security challenges in the country such as the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-East, restiveness in kidnapping as well as the farmers/herdsmen clashes.
