‘We are committed to revitalizing health sector’ –

Kano State Commissioner for Health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa has reiterated his readiness to ensure effective and efficient health care services, especially at the grassroots level.
Dr Tsanyawa disclosed this during a familiarization tour to Kano Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND) and Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA) to assess their activities and rub minds with their heads for speedy development of the sector.
He expressed appreciation for the progress so far recorded in the two agencies and commended the leadership and management of the agencies for their zeal and hard work towards achieving the organisational goals, urging them to maintain the tempo.
Speaking separately, the Executive Secretary KHETFUND, Dr.Nura Idris and Director-General DMCSA,Pharmacist Magaji Dahiru Zarewa thanked the Commissioner for the visit and described him as a man of wisdom and integrity who always considers people’s needs above his own personal interests, according to the Spokesperson of the Ministry, Ismaila Garba Gwammaja.
