By Muhammad Hamisu Abdullahi
Kano State Head of Civil Service, Binta Lawan Ahmed has, on behalf of the entire civil servants in the state, felicitated with Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the state over his recent victory at the Supreme Court, which upheld his election as democratically elected governor of the state.
The Head of Service, who recalled how the governor scaled through all the previous court cases instituted against him by the candidate of the opposition party, said the victory at the Supreme Court is another morale booster on the part of the governor who has been committed to making the state a model and the best among its peers.
She noted that the governor has executed numerous development projects more than what all his counterparts in other states of the federation did so far, a gesture which she further noted has fetched the governor recognition as he even recently bagged some awards of excellent performance following ratings of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum.
Ahmed described the victory as not only for the entire civil servants in the state, but for all the citizens that cut across the 44 local government areas of the state.
While praying for more feathers to the cap of the governor, Ahmed used the opportunity to charge civil servants in the state to keep the tempo of supporting the present administration in the state under the able leadership of Dr. Ganduje towards moving it to the next level.
She prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide, protect and shower His blessings on the governor in all of his efforts at steering the mantle of leadership of the state around successes, says her spokesperson, Malama Bintu Nuhu Yakasai in a statement she made available to The Triumph in Kano.
