Abubakar urged Muslims to pray fervently for the blessings of Allah for our leaders at all levels to succeed in steering the affairs of our dear country and for the sustenance of peace and stability.
He further called on the Ummah to abide by the regulations provided by the health organisations to stop the spread of Covid-19.
He also urged them to use the Ramadan period to re-dedicate themselves to the teachings of Islam and continue to live peacefully with one another irrespective of religions, political and tribal differences.
He appealed to the wealthy individuals to assist the vulnerable and poor people with food during and after the month to cushion the hardship people are going through.
