Onwere commends Kano Police on hitch free festival

Igbo Community Leader, Chief David Onwere, the Omokaribe II of Umuahia has saluted the Kano State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Habu Sani for ensuring peace and stability during the Christmas and new year festival in the state.
He made this known in an interview with The Triumph in his office in the state, saying the Command has provided adequate security of lives and property of the people of the state.
He further said since the arrival of the commissioner, security has improved in the state, noting that crimes have reduced drastically with the support of other security agencies.
On his assessment on the last year, Chief Onwere said the government has achieved a lot in areas of security, especially during the festival period.
He therefore urged the people to maintain peace and order in the new year and be vigilant in order to support security agencies towards promoting peace in the state.
He described security as the most valuable to every nation in the world, appealing to the state governments in the country to cooperate with the police in providing adequate security to people.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the state for his security concern to the people, noting that the state government has supported the security agencies with logistics to encourage their operations at all nooks and corners of the state.
