NEYPAN trains NYSC on sanitizer production

As part of efforts to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), North East Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (NEYPAN) has trained National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members on hand sanitizers and liquid wash production.
NEYPAN Executive Director, Bukar Sulayman told The Triumph in Yobe State, recently at the venue of the training and production in Yindiski Primary School, Potiskum that: “There is need for all stakeholders to put hands on deck to arrest the pandemic of covid-19 in Nigeria by contributing their quota.
“That is why NEYPAN partners with NYSC Yobe to train some corps members on production of hand sanitizers to aid in preventing the citizens of the state from contracting of the deadly virus.”
He enjoined the trainees to fully concentrate on the training as they are expected to step down the training they received to other corps members within the state.
After the training, the corps members were trained on the strategies to be adopted in sensitizing the community on the precautionary measures to be taken to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
In his closing remarks, Yobe South NYSC Zonal Inspector Mohammed Mohammed, who represented Mrs. Grace J. Adzer, the State Coordinator NYSC, had appreciated the corps members for the sense of maturity they showed during the training, tasking them to take this as part of their Community Development Services (CDS).
