The Nigeria Drugs Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Zamfara Command, has rehabilitated 90 drug addicts within six months.
Ladan Hashimu, the Principal Staff Drug Demand Reduction Officer of the Command disclosed while briefing newsmen in Gusau, recently, adding that the rate at which youths engage in various forms of drug abuse is alarming and a source of concern to individuals.
He said in the year 2019, 42 persons were confirmed to have psychiatric problems and were currently receiving treatment at the Psychiatric Hospital at Anka out of which seven were females.
