Missing N500m: EFCC interrogates Niger APC chairman

Niger State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Mohammed Imam, has been accused of not accounting for over N 500 million party’s funds.
Speaking to newsmen in Minna, Financial Secretary of the party, Mr. Idris Gbangba, accused the chairman of refusing to tender financial records of the party for scrutiny.
The Niger State Government has not said anything as at the time of filing this report.
Asked to comment on the matter, Engr. Imam said his good name was being tarnished and has left everything to God.
Engr. Imam has since been interrogated by the EFCC.
