Governor Aminu Bello Masari appoints Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki Executive Director, Katsina Pilgrim Welfare Board

The newly-appointed Executive Director, Katsina Pilgrim Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki has taken over the affairs of the Board.
Kuki was appointed following the sacking of the immediate past Executive Director Muhammad Abu Rimi.
Alhaji Kuki was until his appointment, a Director of Administration and Finance in the State Ministry of Works.
He is also a former Executive Chairman, State Primary Education Board and Special Adviser on Science and Technology.
Speaking while taking over the affairs of the Board, Kuki pledged to lead an open and transparent stewardship.
He said he is aware of the enormous challenges in the job, but promised to work and discharge his duty diligently.
“It is no doubt a tasking and tedious work that requires collectiveness in hard work, dedication, discipline and above all transparency, and accountability.”
Kuki said he will carry out reforms to reposition the Board for effective performance, and called on the staff to give him necessary support and cooperation for him succeed.
Earlier, the Board Director of Finance, Dalhatu Usman had described the new Executive Director as God-fearing, adding that he will justify the confidence reposed in him.
Usman explained that the staff will work with him to ensure the success of this year’s Hajj.
