KNSG to partners with AEGI for sports development

Kano State Government has started discussing with the U.S. based Austin Educational Group International in effort to promote sports activities in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje gave the hint recently during a virtual meeting with representatives of the sporting firm held at government house.
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna who is also the President of the Youths Sports Federation of Nigeria added that the collaboration is coming at the right time considering the position of the state in the sporting activities in the country.
He also noted that his administration has created a Ministry of Sports and Youths development to address the challenges facing sports activities and youths development in the State.
the meeting was attended by the Commissioner Of Sports and Youths Development, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, Chairman Of Kano Sports Commission , Ibrahim Galadima and Surajo Shu’aibu , Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club,
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Austin Educational Group International disclosed their intention of forwarding a proposal for building Sports academy in the state.
