The irrational closure of Triumph Publishing Company, Kano in 2012 by the Kwankwaso administration has once again been challenged by the Kano State Government.
This was revealed by the State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Muhammadu Garba who described the action as not only irrational but unjustifiable, since according to him, the officials of the then government have been unable to tell the world why such an anti-people decision was taken.
He further said that on the assumption of Governor Ganduje administration into office, one of his top priorities was to revive Triumph Publishing Company as a symbol of late Abubakar Rimi’s administration.
