KNHA to make good legislation for YUMSUK
…receives Funtua Health Technology, awards

Kano State House of Assembly is ready to amend law that will bring hiccups to the running of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YMSUK).
Speaker Abdulazeez Garba Gafasa disclosed this when the Acting Vice Chancellor led some management staff on courtesy call to the House recently.
The Speaker added that the House’s doors are open for the university to present any amendment for the betterment of the institution.
Gafasa then commended the university for inculcating good manners to the students, noting that attending lectures by the teeming youths has drastically reduced their engagement into riots across the state.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Aliyu Musa had said that they were at the House to appreciate the good legislation done to the institution being owned by the state.
Meanwhile, the House has received management of Muslims Community College of Health Science and Technology, Funtua, Katsina State led by Dr. Shehu.
In a related development, six lawmakers were presented with awards for their outstanding effort in making their constituency peaceful.
The awards were presented by National Watch Newspaper based in Lagos State.
Among the recipients were Speaker Gafasa; his deputy, Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari; Majority Leader, Kabiru Hassan Dashi; Hon. Labaran Abdul Madari; Hon. Ya’u Garba Gwarmai and Hon. Masu Sumai’la.
