Katsina State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar has inaugurated two mobile courts to deal with violators of lockdown of Katsina and Batagarawa Local Government Areas.
The inauguration of the courts came barely 24 hours after the state government announced the lockdown of the two areas to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
The Triumph recalls that about one week ago, Daura and Dutsinma Local Government Areas were locked down following emergence of COVID-19 disease.
Justice Abubakar said the inauguration of the courts was a directive of the state government.
He said violators of the lockdown would be dealt with according to offence committed.
He further said the inauguration of the courts is to ensure people strictly adhere to lockdown directive.
Justice Abubakar said the mobile courts are headed by experienced judges to ensure their smooth operation.
He advised people of the state to obey sit-at-home directive to avoid becoming victims of the courts.
Our correspondent learnt that the lockdown of Katsina Local Government Area has grounded business and social activities of the capital city.
