The situation forced the committee to summon emergency meeting with heads of the local government councils.
At the meeting, the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Abdulkarim Sirika described as unfortunate the inability of the committee to trace those youths that came into the state.
Alhaji Sirika said the committee has succeeded in tracing the trailer at Mashi Local Government Area, but nobody knows the whereabouts of the youths.
He said hence forth any visitor coming into any of the areas must be isolated and tested against the virus.
Sirika, who is a commissioner of information, said the measure became necessary to avoid spread of the disease in the state.
He sued the occasion to dispel media report on the suspected case of coronavirus, saying: “The state is yet to record any COVID-19 disease in the state.
Sirika, however, said a person in Bakori area suspected with the disease, is now isolated and the result of his blood sample is still waiting.
He appealed to media to stop circulating rumour as regard to the virus, advising them to always cross check their information.
In his speech, a member of the committee, Sabo Musa Hassan directed the councils to organize meeting with Islamic Ulama to sensitize them on dangers of the virus.
