Kano govt. ready for TSA implementation

Kano State Government has reiterated its determination towards the quick and successful implementation of Treasury Single Account (TSA) in the State.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Shehu Muhammad Na’Allah Kura, ably represented by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, ZakariSadiq Buda during a training with the theme: “Kano State Treasury Single Account Implementation for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs),” held in Kano recently.
The statement was contained in a press release signed and issued to The Triumph by Hajiya Bintu S. NuhuYakasai, the Spokesperson of the Ministry.
According to the statement, the Commissioner had said that the project was to cover all the State MDAs, tertiary institutions, judiciary and Local Government Councils, adding that training was to educate the participants on how to maintain and adhere to autonomy and extant laws.
He urged all State MDAs, institutions and employees to cooperate with the government’s representatives and its consultants for the full implementation of the system.
