Jigawa Gov. assures completion of Kazaure health facility

Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has pledged to ensure the completion and commissioning of Kazaure Specialist Hospital in the state by first quarter of next year.
The governor made the pledge when he visited the project site along with Emir of Kazaure, Dr. Najib Hussaini Adamu to assess the progress of the work.
He expressed appreciation of the quality of work and progress made by the contractor, adding that the government would keep its promise on timely payment to the contractor.
Governor Badaru explained that presently the state government does not owe the contractor single kobo, adding that upon submitting any request for payment, the government would not be hesitant to make the payment.
He said: “The state government embarked on upgrading and construction of tertiary health facilities to provide accessible and affordable tertiary healthcare service to the people of the state.”
Similarly, the governor had equally inspected Kazaure Water Treatment Plant that has the capacity of providing 10 million liter par day and its two million gallons reservoir to Kazaure and its environs.
He said the project executed by Federal Government would provide lasting solution to the water scarcity militating the ancient city of Kazaure over decades, promising to speedy action for the completion of reticulation of water pipeline across the city and its environs for effective supply of the water for public consumption.
