In Kano: Police trail two kidnap suspects from Kaduna

Police in Kano State have succeeded in arresting two suspects that kidnapped 11-year-old boy and buried him alive at an uncompleted building at Wuse village, in Minjibir Local Government Area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Habu A Sani disclosed this while parading the suspects at the police headquarters, Bompai in the state.
The commissioner said the suspected kidnappers, Aminu Suleman, a 29-year old and Abdulrashid Ishaq 33-year old all of Tudun Murtala quarters were trailed and arrested in Kaduna, the capita of Kaduna State.
Also CP Sani, who reiterated his command’s resolve to keep the state peaceful and free-criminal zone said he wound not relent in his effort at exposing crimes, calling on the general public to continue to support security agents in this direction.
He assured that his command would also mobilize the general public to help in checking out the menace of drug abuse for a better society.
He explained that such success would be achieved through community policing, assuring to sustain synergy with other security agencies and volunteer security groups for evidence based investigation and intelligence driven operation.
Among those arrested are 17 kidnapping suspects, 13 arm robbers, 10 cattle rustlers, and one human trafficker, while 26 victims were rescued.
He said other sophisticated weapons, including camouflaged uniform, were recovered from the suspects.
