‘I will make Adamawa work again’

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has said that due to the prayer of spiritual leaders, his government will be able to make the state work again.
According to Fintiri, there is the need for the leaders to pray on some of the critical turning points of the state by supporting the government and its policies.
The Governor made the call when a powerful delegation of the leadership of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria LCCN paid him a courtesy visit and also invited him to the annual convention in Numan.
Governor Fintiri noted that ‘’as spiritual leaders, there are critical turning points of the state policies, so many may be considered some will be misunderstood but whatever decisions taken as government it is for the interest of the people of the state.
‘’We have the mandate to make the state work and will make it work again so that we can recover the interest and peaceful co-existence of the state,” he said.
Fintiri reiterated that as government, they are wishing do their best to ensure that the occasion is a successful one and will provide physical security for the convention and called for peaceful co-existence between the government and the church.
Speaking earlier during the visit the Vice Chairman of LCCN, In-Reverenced Nelson Malawu had congratulated Governor Fintiri over his victory at the Supreme Court for the affirmation of the wishes of the people.
