Hisbah establishes offices in 5 Emirates
Kano State Hisbah Board has said that it will establish Zonal Assistant Command at the five Emirate headquarters of the state.
The Commander General of the board, Ustaz Haroun Muhammad Sani ibn Sina announced this when he visited the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Abubakar II in continuation of his familiarisation tour to the four Emirate councils of the state.
Ustaz ibn Sina maintained that the establishment of the zonal headquarters will greatly enhance the services of the board.
He praised traditional rulers in the state for their support and encouragement to the board and for the sustenance of the trend in the overall interest of developing the Islamic religion.
He reaffirmed the board’s readiness to continue to fight illicit activities in the state. Responding, Emir Abubakar II had explained that the Emirate has its history of over 900 years of existence.
He then assured of the Emirate’s continued support to enable the board discharge its duties effectively, according to a statement issued by Information Officer of the council, Malam Haruna Gunduwawa.
