Give priority to farming, Emir Bayero tells communities

The Emir of Bichi in Kano State, Alhaji Aminu Ado Byero has tasked communities in domains to give more priority to farming so as to feed the nation.
The Emir, who was delivering his Sallah message to the people of his Emirate, stressed the need for promoting health among the people in the nation in order to achieve a healthy society.
According to him, health is the bedrock of any development and the most important aspect of life which needs more consideration.
Alhaji Bayero hailed the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his contribution towards human development in the state, enjoining his communities in the entire Emirate to give the present administration as well as the Emirate the maximum support and cooperation in order to pave way for effective discharge of their responsibilities.
On his part, the Chief Imam of Bichi, Alhaji Lawal Abubakar Bichi, while delivering his sermon immediately after the congregational Eid-el-Fitir prayer, called on the Ummah to continue to practice the teachings of the month of Ramadan as their hearts have been purified with fear of God during the fasting period.
He praised the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him for bequeathing best practices to the Ummah, urging them not to relent in their effort in performing good deeds, especially fasting the six days of the month of Shawal and giving out Zakatul Fitir to the needy.
The Chief Imam also prayed for God’s intervention towards curtailing the menace of kidnapping among other things.
He expressed delight with the creation of the new Emirate in the area, praying for God’s protection to the Emir in all his endeavours.
