Gawuna to young recruited army officers: Be honest, dedicated and respectful

 The Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has reiterated the commitment of the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in according high priority to the issue of human development in the state.


Alhaji Gawuna expressed this while receiving the young recruited army officers of the state indigenes who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.


The officers, who were led by the Executive Secretary of the state Guidance and Counseling Board, Alhaji Musa Abba Dankawu and the recruitment Commandant Major E.M Ukandi, visited the deputy governor to seek his blessing and congratulate him over his new appointment.


The deputy governor also assured of government commitment in empowering the youth in the state by supporting and financing them to undertake courses on different cadre.


He assured that the state would continuous supporting and cooperating towards the success of any recruitment exercise either at the federal, state and local government levels for the progress of its teeming youths.


He also congratulated the young officers for being among the luckiest people from the state who have become military personnel, urging them to always be honest, dedicated and respect the rules of law wherever they may find themselves.


Briefing the deputy governor, Alhaji Dankawu said the new officers, who are 100 in number, were selected from the 44 local government areas of the state, saying: “having successfully completed their course, they are now preparing to receive their posting to their places of primary assignment.”


He also thanked the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his support and commitment towards the general success of the recruitment exercise.
