Gashua varsity supports Buni’s education policy

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Gashua, Yobe State, Prof. Andrew Haruna has said that the institution will key into Governor Mai Mala’s education policy for the benefit of the people of the state.
Prof. Haruna disclosed this to newsmen in Damaturu, when he paid a congratulation visit to the Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Muhammad Munkaila.
“The choice of Prof. Muhammad Munkaila is not a wrong choice. That Yobe State has somebody like him means a lot of goodness is underway for the people of the state. Also you have a governor who has declared a state of emergency on education. I call Governor Mai Mala Buni as the lover of education,” he said.
The Vice Chancellor maintained that collaboration is part of higher education and the university is always seeking opportunity to collaborate with any one at the value.
“I am the luckiest of all Vice Chancellors, because the number three citizens of the country, Senator Ahmed Lawan comes from Gashua and the university is in his own house and he has shown great interest in the university,” Haruna said.
The Vice Chancellor further said: “We have set up a special centre in our computer centre with dedicated staff to make sure that those he has sponsored actually get the right thing and the right orientation at the end of the day.”
