Ganduje to empower motor park traders

All plans are in the pipeline to empower many youths that are engaged in trading at various motor parks in order to improve their businesses.

 

This was disclosed by Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje during the weekly state Executive Council Meeting, at Kano Government House, recently.

 

The governor said huge successes were recorded during the recent empowerment in which 4,400 street hawkers were empowered with N20, 000 in order to improve their business.

 

He said plans were in the pipeline to empower more youths that are carrying their lawful businesses at various motor parks in the state.

 

According to him, the state government has comprehensive statistics of motor park traders in the state, saying that the government would empower them tomorrow to improve their businesses·

 

“This will reduce poverty and unemployment in the state,” he explained.

 

He said many ongoing projects such as Sabon Gari Flyover, Kofar Ruwa Underpass, ultra modern skill acquisition center and Tiga Dam Hydro Power project among others were inspected to make sure they are completed by the end of this year.
