Ganduje appoints Dala commissioner anti-corruption agency

Governor Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointment of Baba Sharu Dala as a full-time commissioner, Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission.
The appointment is pursuant to Section 2 (1)(a) and (c) of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, which empowers governor to appoint two full-time and four part time commissioners for the Commission.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Abba Anwar, said on Friday.
According to the statement, the appointment is subject to the approval of the Kano State House of Assembly.
The name of the appointtee would be forwarded to the House for their approval as provided by the Law establishing the Commission.
Dala’s appointment came into effect as the tenure of one of the tull-time commissioners elapsed on 4th January, 2020.
