Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has presented a First Class Staff of Office to the newly-installed Kwandi Nunguraya, His Highness, Kuruhaya Dishon Dansanda.

The 17th Kwandi of Lunguda Kingdom was installed following the demise of the 16th late Kwandi, Dr. Wilfred K. Kinde who died October last year and left the traditional stool vacant.
Speaking at the auspicious and unique occasion, Governor Fintiri congratulated the kingmakers and the new Kwandi Nunguraya, Kuruhaya Dishon Dansanda II as the 17th Kwandi of Lunguda Kingdom.
Governor Fintiri enjoined the people to cooperate with traditional institutions and to support them with meaningful advice so as to discharge their duties accordingly in order to promote peace in their areas and as government, will equally accord royal fathers support to achieve the desired goals.
Responding, the new Kwandi Nunguraya noted with all sense of humility and respect for humanity, he has accepted the destiny, adding: ‘’I shall be embodiment and affection of the culture and inspirational history of the Lunguda nation and others in the land.”
He commended the effort of Governor Fintiri and for his leadership quality which is outstanding and worthy of emulation because “you have done what is right for Lunguda people.
‘’I will ensure we relay the ideas of our parents and grandparents to all the people,” he concluded.
