FG condoles with Ganduje, Kano Emirate over Ado Sanusi’ death

The Federal Government has condoled with the Kano State Government, Kano Emirate and the good people of Kano State over the death of the former Nigerian ambassador to Iran, Ado Sanusi.
The Federal government delegation led by the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Abba Kyari, were at Government House, Kano, on Saturday to present a letter of condolence from President Buhari to Governor Abdullahi Umar Gadnuje.
Members of the delegation include the Minister of Defence, General Bashir Magashi (rtd), the Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono, the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, among others.
Garba Shehu, who spoke on behalf of the delegation, said that the delegation was at the Government House, Kano to present a letter of condolence to the governor on behalf of the president.
However, Garba Shehu described Ambassador Ado Sanusi’s death as a great loss not only to the state, but also to the entire country.
Garba Shehu said: “Ambassador Ado Sanusi was a distinguished diplomat and remarkable statesman who had served his country and his immediate community with dedication.”
Late Ambassador Ado Sanusi passed away on Thursday. Until his death, Ado Sanusi was the Dan Iyan Kano.
