Emir elevates 3 to district heads

The Emir of Rano in Kano State, Alhaji Dr. Tafida Abubakar Ila has approved the advancement of three village heads to district heads in the Emirate.
They are the village heads of Madaci in Rano, Alhaji Mannir Tafida Abubakar to District Head and Tafidan Rano; Kuki in Bebeji, Alhaji Tijjani Abdullahi Kuki to the District Head of Bebeji and Majidadin Rano and Tudunwada, Alhaji Muhammadu Ibrahim Dankadai as District Head of Tudunwada who is to maintain his position as Dankadai of Rano.
Speaking during the turbaning ceremony of the District Heads, the Emir, Alhaji Ila appealed to them to be good ambassadors of the Emirate in promoting peace and unity among the communities, saying that the appointments were based on merit.
Speaking, the chairman of Rano Local Government Area, Alhaji Ya’u Gidan Zangi, who represented the 10 local council chairmen of the Emirate, commended the state governor, Dr. Adullahi Umar Ganduje for his foresight in creating the more Emirates in the state, describing Rano Emirate as historic one.
He described Emir Ila as a great leader who has concern on the development of his subjects, congratulating the new District Heads.
Also commenting, the member representing Rano in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Nura Rano, assured of readiness towadrs ensuring that the newly created emirates of Rano, Karaye, Gaya and Bichi are maintained, promising to continue supporting them at all levels.
