Educ Comm. tasks workers on dedication to their respective duties so as to move the sector to greater heights
Newly-appointed Kano State Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru has charged the management and staff of the Ministry to be dedicated to their respective duties so as to move the sector to greater heights.
Speaking shortly after his assumption of duty in a colourful occasion, the Commissioner said he is ready to work in cordiality and mutual respect with all the staff of the Ministry.
The Commissioner promised to do all he could to create a conducive working atmosphere in the Ministry, warning that he will not condone laxity.
Kiru, who solicited the support and cooperation of the staff of the Ministry, expressed appreciation over the performance of the Permanent Secretary, heads of parastatals under the Ministry and the management staff for the good job they have been doing.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Lauratu Ado Diso had told the Commissioner that the Ministry had been doing its best in supporting and implementing all government policies aimed at promoting the development of the state’s education sector.
She therefore pledged the total support of the staff of the Ministry and its parastatals to him with a view to achieving maximum success during his stewardship.
In his remark, member representing Kiru Constituency in Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. KabiruAlhassnDashi described the new Commissioner as a dynamic young man who has a vision of moving the Ministry forward.
Also speaking, the political leader of Kiru local government, Alhaji Abubakar Maimai solicited the support of the staff of the Ministry to the Commissioner, saying that with a required cooperation, the Commissioner will perform even beyond expectations.

Other personalities that spoke at the occasion were Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Mukhtar Ishaq Yakasai and the Executive Chairman SUBEB Kano, Dr. Danlami Hayyo.
