The member representing Doguwa and Tudun Wada Constituency in the House of Representatives and Majority Leader, Hon. Alasan Ado Doguwa has said that he was happy with the development projects, so far executed, in his constituency.
Doguwa happy with constituency project initiative
Speaking in an interview with The Triumph, Hon. Doguwa declared that his constituency has benefitted greatly from the initiative, listing provision of drinking water among such projects, which militated the constituency for nearly 30 years without solution.
He commended the Federal Government for its effort towards ending the perennial water problem in the constituency through the provision of boreholes that aided the flow of water to the area.
The lawmaker also revealed a plan in the pipeline by the government to provide more drinking water through the dam projects in the constituency, saying that a work plan has since been carried out to enable take-off of the exercise in earnest.
He said through the initiative, his constituency has similarly benefitted from the construction of Juma’at Mosque and other five-daily prayer Mosques at different locations of the area.
Hon. Doguwa explained that more Islamiyyah schools have been constructed there, in addition to a number of secondary school blocks and schools through his effort.
He said a lot of towns and villages have benefitted from electricity supply project in the constituency.
On his personal development projects, Hon. Doguwa said he has gotten a number of youths employed, while many of them have been assisted to enhance their personal business.
The lawmaker commended the effort of the state government in the provision of free education at the basic and post basic levels in the state.
