Sokoto Government says the state has recorded 107 confirmed cases, 13 deaths and 41 discharged from various isolation centres in the state.
COVID 19: How Sokoto detects, manages pandemic

The state Chairman, Task Force on COVID-19, Dr Muhammad Ali Inname, said the state has in collaboration with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC); The World Health Organization (WHO) and many other stakeholders has been working round the clock to curtail the spread of the virus.
Dr.Inname stated that the aim of the trace, test and treat (3Ts), is to align the various stages of identification, testing and treatment of suspected and cases in all nook and cranies of the state.
He maintained that in its effort to halt the spread of the disease, the state government as it plan, to achieve and to guide the identified contacts on how to self-quarantine while waiting for test results.
Dr. Inname explained that the state has three COVID 19,sample collection centres includes ,Infectious Disease Hospital Amanawa, Sokoto,Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital Sokoto and Rehabilitation centre at Epidemiology Unit, Sokoto respectively.
