Corps members to get special allowances in Zamfara
Zamfara State Government has reiterated its determination to pay special allowances to corps members serving in rural communities for a sustainable grassroot policy.
The government directed local governments, including the traditional rulers to fully integrate the corps members into their midst to achieve optimal results.
The state governor, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar made this disclosure at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch C stream 1 corps members deployed to the state.
Yari said the state government appreciated NYSC for being passionately committed to the cause of the state, urging corps members to implore opportunity that comes their way through conscious interactions with their host communities.
Considering the present day unemployment, the governor said his administration has introduced skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development for the corps members on camp to engage them on profitable ventures.
Speaking at the ceremony, the state Coordinator of NYSC, Alhaji Muhammad Danhunsi advised corp members to abide by the rules governing their career.
