Coronavirus: KSACA boss wants non-stop of HIV services

The management of healthcare facilities in Kano State has been urged to intensify efforts to ensure non stop of HIV services in their centres in order to curtail the spread of epidemic in the state.

 

The Director-General of the state Agency for the Control of Aids (KSACA), Dr. Sabitu Y. Shu’aibu Shanono, made the plea during a meeting with the management staff of the agency.

Dr. Shanono said HIV/AIDS is global pandemic like COVID-19 that requires collective efforts to combat its menace.

He said that in order to end COVID-19, effort must be intensified towards ensuring treatment and care of HIV/AIDS clients adequately.

He then urged citizens to ensure total compliance with protocols of coronavirus in order to protect themselves from being infected.

A statement from the agency’s spokesperson, Malam Aminu Bello Sani, made available to The Triumph recently in Kano has said.
