Bye-election: Nasarawa Speaker assures of victory

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nasarawa State has fixed August 8 this year for the conduct of bye election in Nasarawa Central Constituency into the State House Assembly. 

 

It would be recalled that the seat became vacant following the death of Hon. Suleiman Adamu who died as a result of COVID-19.

 

In his remarks shortly after a primary election of  All Progressives Congress (APC), the Speaker of the  House, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi expressed optimism that the people of the constituency will give their vote to APC candidate in the coming bye election.

 

“This is achievable because it will consolidate on the gigantic transformational policy and programs of Governor Abdullahi Sule in the state,” he stated.

 

The Speaker charged Ismaeel Danbaba who emerged winner at the just concluded APC primaries not to relent as the game is not yet over.
