Yobe State Government is ready to partner with stakeholders through the payment of counterpart funding and other logistics to ensure that people of the state benefit from its health facilities.
Governor Mai Mala Buni of the State revealed this while flagging-off the 2019 Maternal Newborn and Child Health Weeks (MNCHW) in Damaturu, the state capital.
Represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, the governor said health is a collective responsibility, urging all the people of the state to contribute their quota in making the state disease free.
He therefore appealed to the people of the state to make good use of the health facilities by reporting for consultation and diagnosis, noting that government will make sure that each and every person gets the needed health care services.
Speaking earlier, the Executive Secretary of the PHCMB, Dr. Muhammad Lawan Gana had said that the programme was aimed at sensitizing the general public to always visit the health facilities for health care services.
