Buni deserves commendation on achievements -Alhaji Usman

Alhaji Usman Sa’idu Aliyu has extolled Yobe State governor, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni for his policy of awarding contract to the indigenes of the state.
Alhaji Aliyu disclosed this while having a chat with journalists in his office in Damaturu, the state capital recently.
He said: “The policy of the governor for awarding the contract to indigenous contractors in the state is aimed at empowering them and also to improving the economic base of the state.”
Alhaji Aliyu revealed that after the governor was sworn-in on May 29 last year, he immediately declared a state of emergency on education at primary and secondary school levels with a view to improving the standard of education in the state.
According to him, within the one and half year in office, Governor Buni recorded tremendous achievements which include the resuscitation of all dormant industries in the state.
He said, the governor, who is currently constructing modern markets in Damaturu, Potiskum, Gashua, Nguru, Gaidam, Yadin Buni and Ngalda was giving hope to people at the grassroots of their development.
He said, because of his hard working, President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed his appointment as acting national chairman of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Alhaji Aliyu urged the people of the state to continue to support the Buni administration in order to bring rapid development in the state.
