President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Bitrus Danharbi Chinoko as the Director-General of the Centre for Management Development, (CMD), with effect from April 28, 2020.

This was contained in an announcement made recently by the Presidency through the Special aide on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad, and a statement issued by the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Willie Bassey.
According to the statement, the president congratulated the new DG and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the appointment.
Meanwhile, a press statement from the Media and Publicity Office of the CMD issued in Abuja said Mr Bitrus Chinoko was the Acting Director General of the Centre since February, 2018, when he took over from Dr. Kabir Kabo Usman whose two terms of four years each ended at that time.
