-as he Commends NASS for progressive ties

Governor Ganduje Kano State congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on the presentation of 2020 Budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.

The governor’s congralatory message was communicated on Tuesday via his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Abba Anwar.

 

According to the governor, 2020 Budget will bring more succour to the populace and effective continuation of developmental projects, programmes and policies by Buhari administration.

 

“Just have a look at the content of the budget and its sectoral distribution, you will come to understand that it entails commitment, seriousness, focus and transparent dealing, which will definitely translates into quicker, effective, efficient and accountable implementation,” Ganduje said.

However, the governor commended the legislative arm for their promise to close ties with the executive arm in the coming fiscal year.

 

Ganduje appreciated how the National Assembly is up and doing to ensure that they work closely with the executive arm in the fiscal year.

 

“I sincerely commend them for resolving to have closer tie with the executive presided over by our amiable President Muhammadu Buhari. This is indicative of how committed the president is. The move is indeed commendable,” he added.

The governor further disclosed that prior to the presentation of the budget by the president, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors were at the legislative House and met with the leadership of the two Chambers to lobby for closer ties between the Assembly and the Executive.

 

“Their resolve to see to the implementation of the financial document from January to December in 2020 is another success and encouraging narrative. according to the governor. We thank then for that,” Ganduje stated.

According to him, the leadership of the National Assembly displayed the sense of commitment and concern for Nigerians.
