Bauchi Gov. commissions N200m JIBWIS Jumu’at Mosque

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi State has applauded religious leaders and groups for preaching the gospel of peace and tolerance among their followers.
The governor made the commendation at the commissioning of the newly constructed N200 million modern Juma’at Mosque for Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) at Kasuwar Shanu Fadamar Mada in Bauchi metropolis.
He said his administration would continue to support religious groups and scholars considering their roles in societal development.
Muhammad noted with satisfaction, the support of religious groups to his administration, assuring them of giving them the necessary support.
He expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah for giving the state government under his leadership the opportunity to construct the
“Alhamdulillah, I am so much happy that, today we are
commissioning our Mosque, I must thank our Ulamas for their support.
“My administration will continue to support religious groups for peaceful coexistence in our society, but please I want to plead with you not to relent in offering prayers for politicians to succeed,” said the governor.
He reaffirmed the determination of his administration to welcome constructive criticism and advice from religious leaders for the success of his administration.
Earlier, the National Chairman, Council of JIBWIS, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for the gesture, praying to the Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
The national chairman, Council of Ulamas of the group, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir prayed Almighty Allah to reward the governor over the gesture for the JIBWIS.
