Bandits kill 3 in Dandume

Suspected bandits have killed three farmers and injured two in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The Triumph reports that the attack occurred at Kandanya and Zura villages.
It was gathered that the suspected bandits numbering about 10 arrived the village on motorcades and succeeded in killing the farmers.
It was learnt that other farmers who were on their way to farm took to their heels for safety.
However, two farmers in an effort to escape, sustained injuries and were later admitted at Funtua General Hospital.
Meanwhile, the head of Dandume Local Government Council, Alhaji Ahmad Idris Mashi has condoled with the families of the victims.
Mashi, who also visited Funtua General Hospital, had pledged to settle medical bills of the victims that sustained injuries.
He called on the people of the area to continue to pray to end banditry activities.
