Bagwai tragedy: Ganduje condoles  with families of Gunshots Victim’s

Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has commiserated with families of victims who were shot dead by suspected robberers at Bagwai Market, in Bagwai Local Government Area.

Governor Ganduje represented by his Deputy Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna was accompanied during the visit by the State Commissioner of Health Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, the State Commissioner of Youth and Sport Development Kabiru Ado Lakwaya and State Commissioner of Commerce and Industry Alh. Mahmud Muhammad Santsi.
Other Officials in the Governor’s entourage were the Special Adviser to the Governor on religious affairs Alhajit Ali Baba Fagge and Special Adviser to the Governor on grassroot mobilization Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Tumfafi.
Ganduje described the death of the innocent victims as a great tragedy that taught the heart of not only the people in Kano but in the country as a whole and prayed for the quick recovery of those that sustained injury during the incident.
He however, urged people in the State to pray for Allah’s protection against any move that may cause insecurity in the State and the nation in general.
” We are calling on the good people of Kano to intensify effort on prayers for peacefull coexistence in Kano so that Allah (SWT)  may continue to protect our State and Nigeria at large.
” I equally enjoin you to collaborate with traditional rulers in your domain and security agencies to ensure full security and safety of lives and properties ” Ganduje urged.
Ganduje assured that his administration would continue to do everything possible to ensure adequate protection of lives and properties of people in the State, adding that security is an issue that requires the co-operation and contribution of all.
The victims who lost their lives during the robbery were Late Muhammad Jazuli Sani, Aged 35 of Sabon Gari, Bagwai and Late Maitama Yusuf Wada, Aged 42 of Nasarawa in Bagwai respectively.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant their gentle souls the eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss
