APC chieftain advises against overheating polity
From Ismaila Muhammad,Dutse
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Jigawa State,Alhaji Nasiru Muhammad, popularly known as ‘Card Reader’ has cautioned politicians in the country to desist from overheating the polity.
Muhammad made the appeal while speaking to our reporter in Dutse on Monday.
He said that the APC administration under President Muhammadu Buhari which is in its ‘next level’ is only nine months old now but desperate politicians have started building political structures for contesting in 2023.
The chieftain appealed to the desperate politicians to wait and see how Buhari would take this country to in the next level than distracting the attention of the citizens.
“My problem with these politicians is that most of them are saying that President Buhari asked them to prepare and contest in 2023,” he stated.
“Some of them are even saying they have perfected every plan with Mr. President who is surely going to support their course,” he added.
“My advice to President Buhari is to warn these kinds of people to desist from spreading such rumors which could drag his name down,” he cautioned.
“I also urged the National Independent Electoral Commission to warn such politicians that time for any political campaignis not yet ready,” the APC chieftain stressed.
