AD plans taking over Zamfara Government House


The Zamfara State Chairman of Alliance for Democracy (AD), Alhaji Musa Maimai has intended to take over Government House, as the party has finally fielded its governorship candidate for the 2019 general elections in the state, said AD candidate who added that he would first put smiles on the faces of civil servants in the state if elected.


Speaking with The Triumph in Gusau, the AD Chairman in the state said that rumours of his party making arrangement to liaise with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) towards 2019 general elections has now been put to rest, pointing out that “all elective positions from governorship to State Assembly candidates have been fielded by our party (AD) in

Zamfara, so the speculation is now over.”


Maimai maintained that his party has all it takes to win Zamfara governorship in 2019, as their candidate has all the requisite qualifications to contest the number one seat in the state.


He said the party has zoned its gvernorship candidate to Zamfara Central where Alhaji Kamilu Musa emerged as AD flag-bearer and one who has assured that civil servants’ welfare is his top priority in the state.


The state AD chairman explained that his party manifesto hinges on workers, business groups, women and youths would if he becomes the next governor of the state.


He attributed insecurity that bedevilled the state as emanating from lack of proper leadership, adding that all problems regarding workers would be things of the fast if given the mandate.
