A Daidaita Sahu tri-cyclists warned on sanitation exercise

Kano commercial tricycle operators have been called upon to abide by the state order of restricting movement during the monthly sanitation exercise.
Kano State Commissioner of Environment, Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Getso made the call during the monthly sanitation meeting with stakeholders in his office.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Bashir Habib Yahya, saying Dr. Getso stated that commercial tri-cyclists popularly known as A Daidaita Sahu are major defaulters of the monthly sanitation exercise.
He maintained that the exercise is mainly for the benefit of the entire people of the state to have a healthy and hygienic environment.
The Commissioner added that the purpose of the restriction is not only to fine defaulters but also to encourage indigenes to participate in cleaning the environment.
Getso appealed to the State Sanitation Committee members to come up with new ideas and innovations that will make the exercise better
