Satisfied with the federal government’s presence through developmental projects across the country, coupled with a glaring political will to sustain the feat, Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has called on Nigerians to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in his bid for second term in office in 2019 general election.

Ganduje made the call in his speech at an event organised by Obinna Simon popularly known as ‘MC Tagwaye’, the branded MC Tagwaye Buhari A-Like Tour, intended to garner more support for President Buhari in the 2019 election, held at Sani Abacha Indoor Sports Complex Kofar Mata, Kano, recently.

In a press statement issued by Chief Secretary to the Governor Abba Anwar Ganduje assured that with the developmental projects on the ground more would come when Buhari gets second chance in the forthcoming election.

“If you know what President Muhammadu Buhari means to this great nation, you would even beg him to come back for the second term. Look at the feat he has achieved within just three and a half years.

“The first state that will hint to the victory of President Buhari will be Kano state during next year’s polls. Kano is the home of our dear President and it is the custodian of our able President,” said Ganduje.

He argued that if at all Nigerians need continuity in governance and sustainable development they should make sure that Buhari wins the 2019 general election.

He also called for maximum turn-out and maximum votes from the electorate during the polls, insisting that: “When the presidential election comes, Nigerians should appreciate what APC is doing under President Buhari to move the nation forward.”

He observed that it is only Buhari’s leadership that could help Nigeria maintain her position of being the leader on the continent of Africa.

Challenging further he said that among all those eyeing the Presidency, “only Buhari loves Nigeria more than himself. Who else?” He asked rhetorically.

After commending the organizers of the event for using the channel to garner more support for President Buhari, the governor called on all the electorate to make sure that they vote for all those who contest on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s elections.
